You're here because you're curious. Here's what Drug Free Clubs of America (DFCA) is.
A school membership where staying drug free comes with real benefits, peer support, and certification you can put on job and college applications.
For Students
- "I get tested." A ready answer when someone offers you something you've decided not to use.
- A community where the healthy choice is the norm, not the exception.
- Test results go to your parents only. Never to the school.
- Earn certification that stands out on applications.
- 1M+ rewards locally and nationwide.
Ready to bring it to your school?
- Ask a teacher, counselor, coach, or principal to help you start a chapter.
- Download the petition here, sign it with friends, and hand it to your principal.
For Parents
Test results go to you, never to the school. DFCA gives your student a peer community, real incentives for staying drug free, and a professional resource if you ever need support. Contact us with questions.
For School Staff
DFCA has been independently evaluated and has served over 80,000 students since 2005. It requires one coordinator spending about two hours a week. Startup costs are covered, and DFCA provides the complete framework and support, with student officers driving the launch and the calendar. Because results go directly to parents, the school carries no testing liability. We can connect you directly with a principal or coordinator running an active chapter.

Founded in 2005 by Cincinnati firefighter and EMT Joe Newcomb after responding to a teen overdose: "Prevention is simple: if someone never tries drugs, they can't get addicted. I envisioned a world where the cool kids stay drug free and other teens want to join them." Fifty thousand members later, the model works.
SafeLaunch is bringing DFCA to more high schools. Questions? Contact us.
