The Parent Alliance

This last Saturday morning we held our first virtual SafeLaunch Parent Alliance meeting. Don't feel too bad if you missed it, we'll do it again soon! The Alliance was formed to take our prevention mission to each state through education and advocacy. By growing a membership body that advocates for legislative action to protect youth from alcohol and drug use, our efforts will minimize the drug culture that is harming youth and causing family strife. We may never have enough money to compete with the alcohol and drug industries that lobby our legislators for weak regulations, but we have millions of voters who can put pressure on them to protect the youth of our country.

We recently added an advocacy survey to our website and encourage you to answer the 9 short questions, found here. While the responses are still only in the double digits, it has been informative to learn what people who are educated on this topic think. With your continued help, the results of the survey will help us prioritize our legislative outreach.
