This video shows the founders of SafeLaunch, Commander Ron Cuff (USN, ret.) and Janet Rowse, flying to find the winner of Parent Alliance membership drive challenge. An anonymous donor offered our most successful parent recruiter a $1000 cash prize.
With donor support, SafeLaunch prevents youth substance use that can lead to addiction and chronic homelessness by:
- Teaching young families about the delicate developing human’s brain high risk for addiction
- Awarding scholarships to high school graduates who have overcome family hardship due to substance use
- Recognizing cities, schools and youth organizations that fly the extra mile to prevent early-onset substance use
- Advocating for policies that make growing up without substance use the health standard
