Test Your Strength and Compete for Prizes at Santa Ynez Airport Day!

SANTA YNEZ, CA - Get ready to flex your muscles and compete in a unique challenge at the Santa Ynez Airport Day 2024. This year's event will feature a thrilling Cessna 182 Pull competition, where participants will test their strength by pulling the aircraft for 50 feet as fast as they can. The event will take place on May 18, 2024, at the Santa Ynez Airport, and is open to all members of the community.

Sign-ups for the Cessna 182 Pull competition will begin at 10am on the day of the event and will continue throughout the day. We encourage everyone to Pull for Prevention and we especially encourage parent and child teams to give it a try. 

In addition to the Cessna 182 Pull competition, Santa Ynez Airport Day 2024 will also feature a range of other exciting activities for people of all ages. From aviation exhibits to EAA Young Eagles' airplane rides, there will be something for everyone. And the best part? The event is completely free!

To participate in the Cessna 182 Pull competition, a suggested donation of $20 per adult is requested. All proceeds from the event will go towards funding SafeLaunch primary addiction prevention programs. SafeLaunch is a local nonprofit organization that works to prevent youth drug and alcohol use.
