It's a bright and shiny New Year!

First and foremost, thank you for helping us more than double our 2022 fundraising goal! Because we are 100% donor funded, we literally couldn't do our work without you.

Coming Up in 2023

     We’re looking forward to:

  • Continued fruitful collaborations with our national prevention colleagues from the Institute for Behavior and Health, the One Choice Prevention Community, One Chance to Grow Up, The Chemical People, Drug Free Clubs, Way Out West Coalition, EAA's Young Eagles, The Young Falcons, Boys and Girls Clubs, Johnny’s Ambassadors, Not One More, Moms Against Drugs and more.

  • Flights Above Addiction events beginning in Buckeye, Arizona on February 17-18.

  • In partnership with the EAA, developing a video lesson to preflight young pilots and future aviation professionals for their brain safe adventures. Along with their very respected Young Eagles program, the EAA recently launched AeroEducate, a free online set of activities that spark curiosity in the world of aviation for youth ages 5-18. Stay tuned!
  • Meeting new people who want the very best for America's youth and equipping them with the research they need to help them stay substance free.

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunity

If you would like to help educate teachers, parents, civic organizations or leaders in your community about preventing youth substance use, we’ll be happy to mail you One Choice Prevention brochures. Contact us!

Thanks to volunteers in California, Nevada, Arkansas, and Florida who asked for One Choice brochures, more than 500 families will be equipped to protect their youth from substance use and educate others about the risk.

High Truths is a podcast hosted by our friend and colleague Dr. Roneet Lev. Dr. Lev is an emergency and addiction physician who has served at the White House and practices on the front lines. She just posted the first episode of her new season:  "After two full seasons with over 100 guests there is still so much to discuss about drugs and addiction. We have a strong season ahead with High Truths, interesting guests and conversations." Listen here.
