Fly With Us
We are excited to share that we are planning a cross country flight to take place this Fall. The details are still coming into focus but if conditions continue to improve we are planning to kick off the tour in September at the Truckee Tahoe Airshow and finish at the California Capital Airshow in Sacramento. Collaborating with the grief support organization Team Sharing, we will be making our way across the country and stopping to meet families whose loved ones are displayed on The Wind Beneath Our Wings Memorial. The families will have a chance to spend time with each other and paint love notes to their child upon the plane.
Not only does it take time to organize and advertise a trip like this, it also takes fuel. If you would like to support this mission, or if you know an individual or company who might see value in sponsoring a part of the trip, please let us know.
The Tour's Mission
- Educate: raise awareness about the brain disease of addiction
- Support: reduce feelings of shame, stigma and guilt that surround it
- Advocate: grow the number of Americans who want to be a part of the solution to the drug epidemic
